Chad Justin Faulkner, 20, of Jacksonville died April 24th. A native and lifelong resident, he graduated with honors from West Nassau High School, and was a civil engineering student at University of North Florida. He was a volunteer coach at duPont YMCA and a member of Friendship Alliance Church in Callahan. Survivors include his parents, Janel and Mike Goodchild; 2 sisters, Shelby and Shannon Goodchild, maternal grandmother, Elaine Faulkner; maternal grandfather, John Faulkner; paternal grandmother, Darlene Goodchild; and paternal grandfather, Jim Goodchild. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Thursday at Hardage Giddens Mandarin Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd. where funeral services will be held 10AM Friday with Rev. Tim Carpenter officiating, burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may make a memorial contribution to Jessie Ball duPont Branch YMCA, 7373 Old Kings Rd. Jax, FL 32217 in Chads memory.
