Horst Schimanski passed away December 2, 2008.
He was born in Germany the son of the late Herman and Marianne (Zerner) Schimanski. He came to Canada with his family in 1953 and settled in the Lethbridge area.

He was predeceased by his parents: Herman and Marianne, brother Hank, sisters: Ursela Opdelak, Barbara Kipnik Ingrid Gron, and Doris Grferer, and his brother-in-laws: William Modzeleski Jr. and Jan Modzeleski Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Martin Bros. Riverview Chapel, 610 4 Street South, Lethbridge, AB.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
