Harry Reems passed away at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah with his beloved wife Jeanne at his side. He was born Herbert John Streicher in New York City on August 27, 1947. He joined the Marines and was very proud of his service. He then pursued acting in New York City. That part of his life has been well documented. He moved to Park City, Utah in 1988. In 1989, with the help of Alcoholics Anonymous, he completely changed his life. He met the love of his life, Jeanne Sterrett, on May 27, 1990, and they were married in the Park City Community Church on November 10 later that year. He soon began a very successful career in real estate in Park City, a town he deeply loved and lived there until 2009. In 2008 he became seriously disabled and had to give up some of his favorite activities such as golf and skiing. He and Jeanne relocated to Midway, Utah in August 2009 and came to love that community as well. Harry made a lot of lifelong friends everywhere he lived.

A remembrance and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Park City Community Church, located at 4501 North Hwy 224, Park City, Utah 84098 at 11:00 am. Afterward, friends may stay to reminisce, look at photos, and have light refreshments. Donations may be made in Harry's name to Palliative Care and Hospice at the VA Hospital, 500 Foothill Dr., Salt Lake City, Utah 84148.
