John Henry Farr, 77, of Crossville, passed away July 30, 2001. Funeral services will be conducted today at 3 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Robert Melton will officiate, with special music by Johnny Moore.
Mr. Farr was born April 12, 1924, in Careyville, TN, the son of Joseph and Pearl Farr.
He was an electrician for over 50 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a Mason.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeanetta Edmonds Farr of Crossville; sons, P. Eugene Farr of Grafton, OH, and William Blaine Farr of Crossville; daughter, Beverly D. Rhoads of Medina, OH; sister, Reba Neal of Coalfield, TN; brother, Jim Farr of Coalfield; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pearl Farr; daughter, Jeanetta Farr; and son, John Richard Farr.
