The brother of Baseball Hall of Fame player Hank Aaron, he played seven seasons (1962 to 1963, 1965, 1968 to 1971) as a first baseman and outfielder with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves. He finished his career with a lifetime batting average of .229, with 216 hits, 13 home runs, 94 runs batted in and 102 runs scored.
