Mrs. Lelia Isabel Johnson, 83, of Rising Sun, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 1978 in Union Hospital, Elkton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in McMullen Funeral Home in Rising Sun. The Rev. Jack McLanahan, pastor, Beulah Baptist Church, Oxford, Pa., presided.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Rock Bridge Baptist Church, Trout Dale, Va.
She is survived by four daughters, Mary Lee Ross of North East, Juanita Irwin of Deming, N.M., Pauline Nesbitt of North East and Jeanne Stoner of Elkton; three sons, Ernest Johnson of Bayfield, Colo., John Johnson of Colora, and Dean Johnson of Rising Sun; 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother, Jerry Murray of Marion, Va.
Burial was in Union Cemetery, near Elkton.
