He died Sunday after a year's illness. He came to Cincinnati from Iowa nearly 60 years ago.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna Tenbrunsel Pottebaum, three daughters, Mrs. Anna Quinlin, Mrs. Hermina Burke, and Mrs. Matilda Soden; five sons, Henry, Charles, Raymond, Leo and Vincent Pottebaum, all of greater Cincinnati, and two brothers, John Pottebhaum of Dyesrville, Ia and William Pottebaum of Orient, South Dakota. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, three of whom are serving with the armed forces. these are Lieut. Raymond Pottebaum and Cpl Paul Pottebaum, both of England, and Pvt Russell Pottebaum, stationed at Ft. Knox, Ky. There are three great-grandchildren.
