Mr. Raney dedicated his life to music. He entertained from coast to coast with his songs and unique style of harmonica playing. Best known for his songs, such as "Why don't you haul off and Love me?" which was number 1 for 26 weeks on the country charts.
Survivors include his wife Loys Raney, Wanda Southerland, Zyndall Raney, Norma Hodge. Four grandsons, one great-granddaughter. Three brothers, and one sister.
