A of the 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. Spec. Viehweg started his tour of Vietnam on 2-5-1967.

He is the son of Helen Viehweg of 225 North Long Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, and he enlisted with the Army in Chicago on 7-26-1966.
