On 19 June 2008, at 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario, in the Royal Canadian Air Force Memorial Air Park of the National Air Force Museum of Canada, the 'Starfighter Memorial' was officially unveiled; it is dedicated to honouring all those airmen who flew the CF-104 ('Starfighter') and, in particular, it remembers the 37 pilots who gave their lives in the line of duty.
