LONG BOTTOM -- Services for Wateman White, 76, Long Bottom Route 1, will be Monday, 2 p.m., in the White Funeral Home, Coolville, with Evangelist Vernon Dolan officiating. Burial will be in the Christian Cemetery in Tuppers Plains.
Mr. White died Friday morning at his home.
Born in Roane County, WVa., he was a son of the late William Carey and Hanabell Taylor White. He was a member of the Red Brush Church of Christ and the American Legion. He served in the Army in Europe during World War I, and had been a farmer the greater part of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Esta; a sister, Mrs. Edith Kyle, Columbus; a brother, Woodrow W. White, St. Albans, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
