Zirkle Family Historical Assoc.-Sep 1985: John Will & family were members of the Old Pine Church from about 1785-the mid 1860s. He and his wife, Susanna Sherman Will & John Will Jr. & his wife are buried here. John was a private in the 4th Co 7th Batt. of York Co.,Pa.
The tombstones posted on this site are in the St. Mary's Pine Church cemetery. The old Pine Church cemetery no longer exists. This tombstone shows a John and Elizabeth Will. However, John's wife was Susanna Sherman Will not Elizabeth. Their son John Will Jr. and his wife are also buried here and it is conceivable that they got mixed up. The bodies were not moved and so I choose to leave this memorial on this site.
His father was Michael Will & his mother was Christina Maxel.
