Major League Baseball player. He was an American Major League pitcher for 11 years beginning his career with the St. Louis Cardinals (1954-1956). He went on to play for the NY/SF Giants (1957-1959), the Baltimore Orioles (1960-1961), and the Kansas City Athletics (1962). He wound up his Major League pitching career with the Houston Astros (1964-1965) and became a pitching coach with the Astros in 1966-1967. He attended Sacramento High School and retired in California where he died in Lodi, California.
