MARION, VIRGINIA- MRS. LOUISE ADAMS CATRON, age 87, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Mrs. Catron was born in Grant, Virginia to the late W.J.A. and Mattie A. Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Catron, her daughter, Aleta Catron Sutherland, and her brothers, Dennis J. Adams and William J. Adams.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest F. and Linda T. Catron of Chilhowie, Virginia, a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jonathan F. and Laura C. Catron of Marion, Virginia, a sister-in-law, Jan Catron, of Bristol, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. She was a long time, faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Marion, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend David Woody officiating. The family will receive friends at Seaver-Brown from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held at Rose Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Food & Fellowship or Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Virginia 24354.
