He was born in Port Henry, N.Y. on August 23rd 1904, the son of the late Pierre and Louise (Richard) Maffey Sr.
Mr. Maffey was employed with Construction Sales in Mineville, N.Y.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Louise Barrett Halaburda, one brother, and two step sons.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry, Msgr. Zimmerman officiated.
Burial will take place in the spring in the Catholic Cemetery in Port Henry, N.Y.
