Mr. Grayson, 76, of Matthews died Monday, May 10, 1993, at Presbyterian
Hospital.
Mr. Grayson was born in Sunshine in Rutherford County.
Mr. Grayson was a member of Stallings United Methodist Church and Joppa
Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Ruby, of Matthews; son, Keith Grayson of Matthews;
daughters, Ms. Nancy Johnson of Knoxville, Mrs. Karen Kennady of Belmont, Mrs. Gina Thomas; brothers, Avery Grayson, Clifford Grayson, both of Rutherfordton; sister, Mrs. Evelyn Taylor of Hendersonville; three grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. today at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

He was a banjo player who formed the Golden Valley Boys and later played as a member of the Briarhoppers who broadcast on radio WBT in Charlotte for many years.
