Rites Tuesday For August Knoop, 81
ARCOLA, Ill. — Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Shrader funeral home for August Knoop, 81, of Arcola. Burial will be in the Arcola cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today between 7 and 9 p.m.
Mr. Knoop died Saturday at 11 p.m. in the Martin nursing home, Tuscola, where he had been a patient for two years.
He was born Oct. 6, 1876, in Arcola, a son of Henry and Catherine Knoop. He was employed as a druggist and later as a painter.
He leaves one sister, Mrs. Oley Laughlin, Tuscola.
Mr. Knoop was a member of the former St. Paul Evangelical Church, Arcola.
