Ralph James Boekley, 88, died November 28, 1999. He was born July 29, 1911, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Florence Caspri Boekley.
Mr. Boekley was retired from E.V. Williams Construction Co., where he was superintendent of maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Isadore V. Boekley; three daughters, Jo Ann B. Johnson of Moyock, N.C., Brenda B. Miller of Camden, N.C., and Terry Teague of Virginia Beach; a sister, Ruth V. Blake of Barco, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Providence Baptist Church, Shawboro, N.C., by the Revs. Tom Hall and C.H. Wellons. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge.
