She was 83 years old. She was the widow of William H. Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Joan Graham and husband Robert of Warwick, New York; two granddaughters, Diane Graham of Ellenville, New York, and Debra House of Warwick, New York; four great grandchildren, Wayne R. Hayden of U.S. Air Force, San Antonio, Texas, Michelle Martin of Ellenville, New York, Taya House of Warwick, New York, Nicholas Foote of Warwick, New York; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Harold VanZile Jr. Friends may call on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002 from 9-10 a.m. at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route #1, Pine Island, New York 10969. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, following visitation at the funeral home. Rev. Elwood Mather III will officiate.
