"MARTIN-- Rev. Isaiah Guyman Martin of 1796 N. Sierra Bonita passed away Aug. 23, at his home. He was a native of St Joseph, Mo., and had been a resident of this city for the past 40 years. He is survived by his wife Mary Pearl Martin, and one daughter, Miss Helen Martin, Pasadena. Two sons, Isaiah G. Martin of Washington, D. C., and Byron Samuel Martin of New York City, and three grandsons of Washington, D. C. He was a member of the Bresee Ave. Church of the Nazarene. Services will be held Monday, Aug. 26, a.m. at the Bresee Church of the Nazarene conducted by J. George Taylorson, pastor. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Lamb Funeral Home directors."
