Mr. Dan Cook, 78, of Woodstock, passed away Monday, 19 Jun 2017 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 22 Jun 2017 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vernie Worley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Cook was a custom home builder and member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church. He was a handyman who enjoyed fixing anything that was in need of repair. Dan also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and farming but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Cook; sons, Kem (Tammy) Cook, Steve (Kendra) Cook and Jeff (Danielle) Cook; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
