Peter came to the US when he was seven year old, as many displaced persons did during the World War II. Speaking no English he started school and achieved high grades. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle in 1961. He entered the University of Washington in 1961 and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968, during the last year of his Law school. He fought for our country in Vietnam then came home to finish his schooling in 1971. He became a Public Defender for Seattle and went into private practice with Mike Magee in 1976. He went to work with Bianchi, Tobin and Rinaldi and later Schlosser in 1980 then became a Partner with Al and George Bianchi in 1987 and remained with that firm until his stroke in 1996. Peter's high level of integrity, honor, and love for his profession as a Defense Attorney gave him extreme joy and a meeting of "like" men whom he thought of as his "brothers". Peter had a huge fight with illness beginning in 1985 with Cancer, which he beat. He then had a stroke in 1996 and had to leave his practice with Al and George Bianchi. He fought hard to stay with us this long for his son's sake, but ended up succumbing to pneumonia on Sunday, November 27th in his home. He was deeply loved and will be missed. His Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Acacia Funeral Home. Following the service we will gather at Peter and Matt's home, *** Kenmore, Washington.
