Mr. Neil Henry Murphy of 48 Petty Street, Newton Upper Falls, passed away on Sunday, 15 Jun 1941 following a six months' illness.

Mr. Murphy, who was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, was a builder and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie (McKinnon) Murphy, three sons, John of Watertown, Emmett and Alexander of Newton Upper Falls, and four daughters, Mrs. Rita Mann of West Newton, Mrs. Helen French of Norfolk, Mrs. Amelia Braffitt, Miss Anne Murphy of Newton Upper Falls, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from his late home on Wednesday, 18 Jun, at 8 a.m. followed by a solemn high mass of requiem at the Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church at 9 a.m.

Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham Heights.
