During Friday night, Mrs. Karoline Koeppen, nee Neumann, died in her home on Maryland Avenue at the age of 50 years and 10 months following a lengthy illness. The deceased was born in West Prussia and came to America in her childhood with her parents and siblings about 40 years ago. They settled in Town Wilson. In 1871 she married Mr. Friedrich Koeppen. The marriage produced five children, three of which are still alive: Albert, Arthur and Etna. The burial took place yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Burger officiated the service.
