CARLSBAD - Ada Bell Hiner, 88, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Scripps Ocean View Convalescent Hospital in Encinitas.
Born Aug. 2, 1912, in Salem, Idaho, she lived in Carlsbad and Encinitas for 56 years. She worked in food service in the Oceanside area for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Hiner is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dile and Nina Brower of San Marcos; daughters and son-in-law Betty Lewis of Carlsbad and Lynda and Robert Dyer of Olivenhain; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at noon, Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cardiff. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside.
