The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23 at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Foster officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Marie was born Dec. 6, 1912, in Monroe to John and Bertha (Kamm) Bruns.
She was educated in Platte County schools.
On Oct. 4, 1933, Marie was united in marriage to Clarence B. Muhle.
She was a homemaker and also worked at Dale Electronics for many years. Marie enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
Marie is survived by son Clarence R. Muhle of Columbus, daughter Lois (Dennis) Novicki of Fort Smith, Arkansas; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Marie was preceded in death by parents John and Bertha Bruns, husband Clarence B. Muhle, two sisters, Edna and Lorene; four brothers, Marvin, Clarence, Andy, and Delayne.
