Actress. She was best known to film viewers as 'the female lead 'Vicky Lindsay' in the 1965 "beach party cinema" B-movie classic "The Beach Girls and the Monster". Born Suzanne Marguerite Philips, she wasn't originally interested in acting, but a talent agent discovered her beauty and she later received her first acting part in the 1946 film "Holiday in Mexico". Besides "The Beach Girls and the Monster", she went on to appear in such films as "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" (1947), "Annie Get Your Gun" (1950), "An American in Paris" (1951), "Rear Window" (1954), "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961), "Camelot" (1967), "Paint Your Wagon" (1969), and "American Beauty" (1999). In 1952, she made her television debut on the series "Rebound". She later appeared on such television series as "The Ann Sothern Show," "Gunsmoke," "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Emergency," "The White Shadow," "Hunter," and "Boy Meets World." She also appeared in over 200 commercials for various products including Chrysler, Maxwell House, and Kellogg's.
