She was born on March 12, 1909 at Mineral Springs, the daughter of Minard and Minnie (Becker) Hamm. She was married to Andrew F. Lutz on September 25, 1939 in Oneonta. He died June 23, 1965. A former resident of Roxbury, she was a member of the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Sylvia) Buyce, Northville; a son, Phillip Finch, Roxbury; a brother, Grant Hamm, West Oneonta; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Aletha) Newton. Albany; nine grandchildren, one great - granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 pm Saturday, July 26 at the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church in Roxbury with Rev. Herman Luben, former pastor officiating. Burial was in Roxbury Cemetery.
