Phillip Dotz, 80, of 919-1/2 Niagara avenue, passed away early this morning after brief illness.
The deceased was born in Enders, Russia, on Oct. 25, 1864, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dotz. He was married in Russia on Jan. 24, 1883, to Miss Dorothea Hardt, and the couple came to America, directly to Sheboygan, in 1909. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.
Survivors include his wife; four son, Henry, David and Alex, Sheboygan, and Christ, South Gates, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Gottlieb (Mary) Oehlberg and Mrs. Phillip (Sophia) Brack, both of Sheboygan; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, one son, and five brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ballhorn Funeral chapels and at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. Karl Schultz will officiate and interment will be in Lutheran cemetery.
