Elinor (Broderick) Myers was the first wife of Theodore Henry Myers. She was born in 1836 in Pennsylvania where she married Theodore about 1852. Three of their children were born in Pennsylvania: John Henry, Mary Ellen and Magdalene. After the family moved to Iowa (1860 census shows their residency there) three more children were born that there are records for: Lawrence, Adeline and Joanne. Elinor died in April 1868 in St. Mary's, Warren County, IA and no burial record has been found. This memorial was created in the same cemetery as her husband which seemed probable.
