Funeral. – The burial of the mortal remains of Mr. Johann Konrad Seim, who died at 5 a. m. on June 2 of heart disease, at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 8 days, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home, No. 742 West Baltimore Street. After Pastor Hauser in St. Pauls Church, corner of Fremont- and Saratoga-Street, held a somber funeral service, the procession moved on to the cemetery of St. Pauls Church in Druid Hill Park, where burial of the remains occurred. Pallbearers were the Messrs. K. Stein, F. Helfenbein, K. Becker and J. Ganz.
Mr. Johann Konrad Seim was born December 24, 1806 in Ober-Ohmen, Hessen, and arrived in 1854 in Baltimore, where he earned his living as a farmer and later as a butcher. For the past 10 years he had completely retired to private life. The deceased leaves three children, 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
