Actress. She was best known to French film viewers as the dancer Nini in the 1955 Jean Renoir film "French Cancan." Starting at the age of seven, she took dance lessons in Morocco. After the Second World War, she went to France and studied acting. She made her acting debut in an uncredited part in the 1949 film "Rendezvous in July." Besides "French Cancan," she went on to appear in such films as "Forbidden Fruit," (1952) "No Sun in Venice," (1957) "La chatte," (1958) "The Cat Shows Her Claws," (1960) "Daggers Drawn," (1964) "The Sunday of Life," (1967) and "Black-Out." (1977) In 1965, she made her "small-screen" debut in the series "Le train bleu s'arrête 13 fois." She would go on to make numerous appearances on various television series or mini-series throughout her career such as "Burning Daylight," "L'inspecteur mène l'enquête," "Cinema 16," "V comme vengeance," and "The School Teacher."
