Alvina Fleak was born about 1815 in Hampshire County, Virginia to John Fleak and Elizabeth Brookhart. She married Major Griffin in 1834, and they had 5 children. She probably died between the 1850 and 1860 census enumerations.
Children:
1- Leander Griffin (1836-1901).
2- Lornah Griffin (1839- ).
3- Lemuel Griffin (1842-1920).
4- Marietta Griffin Barrows (1845-1916).
5- David M. Griffin (1848-1916).
