BRAUNER--Mrs. Henry Brauner funeral Tuesday in Columbus church
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Ella) Brauner, 78, will be conducted by Rev. H.M. Rathkamp at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial cemetery.
The body lies in state at Gass Funeral chapel until noon Tuesday, then at church from 1 to 2 p.m.
Mrs. Brauner, a former Columbus resident, died Saturday morning in Fremont's Dodge County hospital following a short illness.
Daughter of the late Herman and Bertha Lusche Muhle, she was born Nov. 20, 1890 in Colfax county, where she received her education.
She and Henry Brauner were married Feb. 19, 1925 at St. Paul Lutheran church, Leigh. They farmed near Leigh until retiring to Columbus in 1946. After her husband's death in July, 1966, Mrs. Brauner moved to Fremont.
In Columbus she was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, and the family suggests memorials to the Trinity memorial fund.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Delores) Bachmann and Mrs. Dale (Nadine) Bachmann, both of Fremont; five grandchildren, Karen, John, Debbie, Ricky and Ronnie.
Two sisters and six brothers also survive: Mrs. Clara Arps of Fremont, Mrs. Alvina Groteluschen of Columbus; Otto, Edward and Elmer Muhle of Leigh, Alroy Muhle of Creston, Arnold and Clarence Muhle of Columbus. Deceased brothers are Ralph and Emil Muhle.
