Guy was the s/o Joseph M. and Evaline Braffett Coon.
He was born near Mill Grove and spent his early life there. I know he had one sister, Edna Theresa Laws w/o Olin. She was living in Bloomfield, IA. at the time of Guy's death.

Guy married my great aunt, Goldie Lee Schooler on Aug. 26, 1911, (his 17th birthday). They remained married for the rest of their lives. They lived in Mercer Co., until 1918.
Guy was the father of 5 daughters and one son. (See Aunt Goldie's obit.) He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Guy had lived in Kansas City for 30 years and was a retired bookkeeper for Armour and Co.
Guy was a kind man. I only met him once or twice when they came out to California to visit my Grandmother.
