Goldie was the daughter of George Edward (Middlebury) Schooler and Carrie Vird Etherton. She was the sister of Ruth, (my Grandmother), Fern, Nadine, Beatrice, Paul and Porter. She married Guy Coon on Aug., 26, 1911 in Spickard, Grundy Co., MO. and was married to him for the rest of her life. She was the mother of Joseph Edward (Jean), Celeste Opal (Hershal Simpson), Mildred Pauline, Elma Louise (Raymond W. Peterson), Mary Lee (J. B. Leyda) and Grace LaVerne (Ken Bishop).
Mildred died young and is also buried in Coon Cemetery.
