Marie Thrall was born August 30, 1923; she went to be be in the loving arms of the Lord on May 20, 2008. Marie was born to Frank and Emilie Ruedin in Portland, OR. Marie grew up in South Tacoma. She attended Visitation and Aquinas Academy. Marie was of Swiss descent and very proud of her Swiss heritage. She was a lifetime member of the Swiss Ladies Society. Marie was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Emilie Ruedin, brother Frank Ruedin, former husband Fred L. Cavelti, daughter Kathleen (Cavelti) Arnold, son Fred M. Cavelti and grandson Brett Cavelti. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thank-you to Laurie Williford and the staff at St. Claire Hospital for all of their love and support of Marie during her last few days in the hospital. Gone but not forgotten. We all love you, Ma!
