Mrs. Saphrona Barstow, of 2512 Fox Road, formerly of Thayer, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday at her residence following an illness of four years.

Mrs. Barstow had resided in Thayer more than 40 years.

Since her illness, she had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Maude Griffiths [sic].

She was the widow of Lafett Barstow.

She was born Dec. 25, 1861 in Ohio.

She was a member of the Latter Day Saints Reorganized church.

Surviving are two sons, Levi, of Thayer; and Ray, of Virden; two daughters, Mrs. Maude Griffiths [sic], of Springfield; and Mrs. Flossie Wright, of Baltimore, O.
