Hal was a member of the Grand Ole Opry, He first landed a job as a fiddle player WAPI radio in Birminghsm Alabama. A few years later Pee Wee King and the Golden West Cowboys heard him play and hired him for WSM radio in Nashville. He worked with several Grand Ole Opry Stars to include Hank Snow, George Morgan, Carl Smith, Roy Acuff, Little Jimmy Dickens, Ernest Tubb, and Ray Price his legacy of music to the Country Music world will live on forever and so shall his memory, sadly missed by family and friends.
