She was born to David G. and Viola Napper Herbert.

Affectionately know by her nickname, Maggie, she and her husband, Adolph, owned Tucky's Garage and Body Shop and Tucky's Bar in Cleveland. The couple moved to Ashland in 1961, where they owned and operated the Ashland Terrace Hotel and Golden Key Motel. She had also worked at Nardini's in Ashland.

She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Ashland.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Adolph; three children, Richard (Dolores) of Cleveland, Roger of Marblehead and Ronald (Christine) of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, Kevin (Tina) Tucky, Todd (Mimi) Tucky, Kathleen Tucky, Annmarie (Rick) Cowin, Tyler Tucky and Madison Tucky; and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Irene Mokry and Lottie Tucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Dee Tucky; and sisters, Dorothy, Lois and Lillian.
