A free-lance writer and author of "Edgar Cayce's Story of the Origin and Destiny of Man" and "Is It True What They Say about Edgar Cayce?", Robinson fashioned his life around the critical study and advocacy of spiritual and political activist thought. Robinson was active in local political and community social issues since the early 1960s.
He was an early member of the Tucson Press Club, Young Democrats, Arizona Consumer Council, Great Decisions and held Democratic Party precinct offices for many years. He founded the Tucson School of Writing and was past president of the southwestern Authors Society and Toastmasters of Ohio.
Robinson was always an outspoken advocate of human and civil rights, economic co-operatives and inquiring spiritual thought. "Edgar Cayce's Story of the Origin and Destiny of Man", first published in 1972, has been published in French, German, Japanese and Braille translations, a classic in its topic, the book has been in print for the past 25 years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara A. (Munson); their four children: Carolyn J. Robinson, Stephen L. (Lyn Wilson) Robinson, Dr. David L. (Snake Jones) Robinson and Tanya M. Robinson; sister, Helen (Frank) Carpenter; and brother, Walter (Gretchen) Robinson.
Funeral Services will be held at SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 1335 S. Swan Rd. at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9th with Pastor Dr. Leland Scott officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
