Paul Becher, 75 of 1827 Randolph St., New Holstein, died Monday afternoon at the home of his son, Alfred Becher of 1830 Randolph St., New Holstein, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be at Zion Lutheran Church, New Holstein, and burial will be in New Holstein Cemetery. The Rev. E. J. Zanow will officiate.
Mr. Becher was born at Schonfeld, Germany, Sept 28, 1884, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Becher, and received his education there. On April 9, 1917 he married Ada Wandersleden at Plymouth, Wis. The couple spent 50 years at New Holstein where Mr. Becher was employed as a mason contractor. His wife preceded him in death Dec. 6, 1943.
Surviving are two sons, Alfred and Ronald, of New Holstein.
