Rodenberger Services Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Rodenberger, 86, former Ritzville resident, who was residing in Kennewick, were held Wednesday at the Philadelphia Congregational church.
Mrs. Rodenberger died Saturday in a Kennewick hospital. She had been in the hospital about two weeks.
Rev. Herbert Haemmelmann officiated at the services. Interment was at Ritzville Memorial cemetery.
Pallbearers were Vic Rogel, Art Benzel, Frank Heimbigner, William Oestreich, Jesse Dewald and Calvin Miller.
Anna E. Schwartz was born Dec. 10, 1875, at Hussenbach, Russia. She attended grade school in Russia and was married later to George Rodenberger in 1897 in Russia.
She had lived in Ritzville from 1902 until 1959, when she moved to Kennewick.
Mrs. Rodenberger was a member of the Philadelphia Congregational church and the Senior Ladies Aid.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Wellsandt of Ritzville, Mrs. Louise Atwood of Everett and Mrs. Lydia Mock of Kennewick; two sons, Fred of Tacoma and Roy of Missoula, Mont., a sister, Mrs. Anna Lenhart of Waterville; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
