George Harrison Martin, 70, of Williamstown, died Wednesday, at 1:50 p.m. in Marietta Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was a retired bricklayer.
Surviving are one son Clyde, of Williamstown, with whom he made his home and four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Deem of Belpre, Mrs. Ida Root of Marietta, Mrs. Bessie Owen of Akron, and Mrs. Hattie Lincicome of Parkersburg.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Shaver and Byham funeral home. The Rev. E.M. Couch will officiate and burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home.
