The face of the momument lists Isaac Hiliard Davis and & wife Anne Alexander [Downey] Davis. They are buried directly in front of the monument based on the footstones. The left side of the monument lists three of their children who died very young. The right side of the monument lists a son. Graves for the four listed children are at other locations within the cemetery. In addition, there are at least two other children, Mary Davis Gregory & Alexander Smith Davis, who are not listed on the monument but are buried at other locations in the cemetery.
