Theodore Claudius Pease, briefly a professor at Andover Theological Seminary before his sudden death.
His parents were Claudius Buchanan Pease and Elvira Ann Smith [children: Theodore, Giles, Noah, Robert, Robert, John, Robert]. He married Abbie Frances Cutter in 1880.
Theodore graduated from Harvard in 1875, was assistant professor of Literature at the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland in 1876, ordained Sep 08, 1880, pastor in West Lebanon, NH from 1880 to 1884. He also pastored at the First Church in Malden, MA from 1884 to 1893, and was a professor at the Andover Theological Seminary in Andover.
Cause of death: typhoid fever.
