Nimrod is on the same headstone with Nathan and Sarah Johnson. Hoge, his middle name, was his mothers maiden name. I got this information from census records. Also on this headstone is a 5 year old girl named Agnes Berkau. I don't know how she is related.
Another contributor sent me the following info: Found article on line that Nimrod Hoge Johnson was born September 16, 1820 in Belmont County Ohio and died April 28, 1869 of accidental poisoning. See History of Wayne County, Indiana, from its first settlement to the present, by Andrew White Young, published 1872.
