TINMOUTH - Ella M. Duhnoski, 89, died Sept. 9, 2010, following a long illness.

Arrangements are pending at the Wallingford-Aldous Funeral Home.

TINMOUTH - Ella M. Duhnoski, 89, of Tinmouth died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, following a long illness.

She was born Feb. 6, 1921, in Bollingen Germany. She immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 6 years old.


She was a resident of Garden City Park, N.Y., for more than 40 years prior to relocating to Tinmouth in 1989.

She enjoyed her home and gardening, along with reading and golfing, achieving a hole in one. She also enjoyed singing and music.

She was a member of Tinmouth Community Church.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, John E. Duhnoski of Tinmouth; a sister, Hilda Janssen; three brothers, Herbert Janssen, Edward Janssen and Henry Janssen; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Tinmouth Community Church. Burial will follow in Tinmouth Cemetery.

Following the burial, a reception will be held at Tinmouth Community Church.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the Wallingford-Aldous Funeral Home

Memorial contributions may be made to Tinmouth Community Church, Tinmouth, VT 05773.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Aldous Funeral Home.
