Mary Pounds Lyon, 97 of Roswell, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Lyon and a great granddaughter. She was a member of the Roswell United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Lyon of Roswell, Maye and Jack Eaton of Alpharetta; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jack, Charlotte, Joshua, Robert, and Christopher Eaton of Marietta, Todd Eaton of Charlotte, NC, Merrie, Todd, Nicholas, Zachary, Elijah, and Amelia Greenfield of Roswell; a friend, Mario Castro, and nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted by Dr. Malone Dodson on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM. Interment will follow at Ball Ground Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Henry and Mary Lyon Scholarship Fund at Reinhardt University, 7300 Reinhardt College Circle, Waleska, GA 30183.
