FRANK BLOEMER DIES SUDDENLY

Frank Bloemer of Effingham, aged 49 years, 10 months and 25 days passed away at St Anthony's Hospital at Effingham at about 8 o'clock early Sunday morning, December 12, 1937, after only a few days illness. He contracted pneumonia and was taken to the hospital last week Wednesday evening and latter placed in an oxygen tent and it appeared that his condition was improving until a short time before be passed away.

Mr Bloemer was married to Louise Engel of Teutopolis about eight years ago. They resided on a farm northwest of Effingham for the past few years. He is survived by his wife and six children, namely Mary, Vern, Jerome, Ruth, Gerald and Patricia, besides four brothers: Clem, Joseph, and Ben Bloemer and three sisters: Mrs Henry (Elizabeth) Althoff, Mrs J F. (Mary) Koester and Mrs Herman (Catherine) DuSt His parents, Mr and Mrs Joseph Bloemer, have preceded him in death, his father dying About 27 years ago and his mother about a year and a half ago.
